don't be like me who go to the extent, by opening up 500 port
basically i am trying my best to connect to as many peers as possible
so what is your average download speed?
i am still waiting mypillowtalks reply on the proxy server
maybe it will increase our download speed more

probably another poorly seed torrent....
and if you want to improve your speed.......
open up more port and see whether will it improve or not

its a 699 mb file..... and to be honest, it also depends on the file, itself, how many seeder and peer are reflected on your bitlord? -

so its better for you for stick to bitlord, and furthermore, i am always behind a firewall, but i still able to achieve 90 KB/s for a new release

if you change your setting in your sp2 to 500
then you will have to change your bitlord to 500 as well
if you are a regular downloader of those *ahem* file, it is not advisable to open up 500 tcp port, as you don't know the source of those file are from.......
and between, if you really want to have top speed, it also depend on how well seeded is the torrent as well
if you are downloading a torrent that is few years old, you don't expect it to have alot of seeders, right? there will be more leechers than seeders
and i don't know what you are downloading, so i can't comment much.......
and i need to buy new hard disk or sls will be closed -_-
between when you are downloading a file, you have to close one of your firewall...... -
fake on lar....i use ms paint to copy any number and paste them infront of the dl speed
but i tink good computer, broadband, a good seeder is the key, seriously i dl @ 200kB/s before, no problem one -

i got a question.... why my torrent the bar always got the red part and it will just stuck there

there are still seeders and leechers of that seed though...
and can any1 explain on how to tweak such that the download speed can go very high... -
There's no more timing there... means probably the leechers and seeders have disconnected...
And don't bother hiding, you are downloading Spiderman 3

Go google for EvID4226Patch.exe and change the number to 50..Anyway how to check whether your router is port forwarded properly? I did it already but not sure it's working anot..

i cant seem to extract the EvID4226Patch.exe out frm the RAR file...it keeps saying tat it will be compressed after closing the application using it

to all fellows out there
please don't open up so many ports, like what i do, as if you are a regular download of those *ahem* file, it is easier for you, to kenna worms, or virus, or spyware
and if you want to open up more port, just use the latest bitcomet 0.86, there is a function - tcp/ip limit for you to change your port from 8 to 100
and if you want to look for a file, at least make sure that it is a well seeded torrent
or even you are using 10MB/s package, if the torrent has only 1 seeder and few leechers, you probably will get sucky speed
it all depends on what you are downloading
as for utorrent, you have to go to advanced option, then change the net.max_halfopen - from the default setting of 8 to__ (how much port, have you open for your utorrent)
