Your hard disk will be working super hard as there is not enough RAM. If you have a low hard disk space as well, you may find yourself running out of virtual memory.Originally posted by buses_galore:So if you have low ram your Hard Disk and CPU have to work hard to move the data from the ram to the hard disk right? And I am intending to upgrade my ram is simlim good?

The lower the number, the better it is. But please, no mix and match. No guarantee what will happen if you do that.
At the most, it goes heaven.
Yeah... I never seen people doing otherwise.Originally posted by tofushop193:so meaning my ram is CL2.5 the next ram i buy mus be also CL2.5??

Improve the swapfile performance.
[*]Click Start, then Run.
[*]Enter msconfig in the box.
[*]Click on the System.ini tab.
[*]Click the plus sign next to 386enh.
[*]Click New, then type “ConservativeSwapfileUsage=1″ in the box that appears.
[*]Click OK.
Improve Swapfile Performance
If you have more than 256MB of RAM this tweak will considerably improve your performance. It basically makes sure that your PC uses every last drop of memory (faster than swap file) before it starts using the swap file.
1. Go to Start then Run
2. Type "msconfig.exe" then ok
3. Click on the System.ini tab
4. Expand the 386enh tab by clicking on the plus sign
5. Click on new then in the blank box type"ConservativeSwapfileUsage=1"
6. Click OK
7. Restart PC
(Eh mayi the command is only "ConservativeSwapfileUsage=1" without the quotations btw )
is it free for companies to use?Originally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:Clean the registry.
[*]Download EasyCleaner and install it.
[*]Click the Registry button.
[*]Click the Find button on the bottom. EasyCleaner will search your Registry for the leftovers of old programs and other detritus. This could take several minutes.
[*]When itÂ’s done, click the Delete All button. (You canÂ’t click it till itÂ’s finished.)
[*]Click Yes to confirm you really want to delete the bad entries.
If unsure, please ask someone or don't clear it.
