Mum had 12-year-old lover

ADELAIDE (Australia) - A MARRIED mother of two had a 12-year-old boy as her lover, a South Australian court heard on Wednesday.
Rebecca Robyn Daniel is accused of having sex with the boy in her car and on a patch of dirt near a rubbish dump.
A report on news website AdelaideNow said that the jury in the case was told that Ms Daniel repeatedly denied having an affair with the boy, but told her co-worker she considered him "her best friend".
Ms Daniel, 35, is standing trail in the District Court and has pleaded not guilty to one count of aggravated indecent assault and three counts of unlawful sexual intercourse.
The offences alegedly occured between June 2007 and February 2008 when the boy was 12 and 13 years old. Ms Daniel was 34-years-old at the time of the offences.
Prosecutor Michael Barnett told the jury Ms Daniel would often give the boy a lift in her car.
"One night, when she was driving him home, she took a detour and drove to the wharf at Port Wakefield," he said. "She stopped the car, turned off the lights, looked at the boy and said 'untie your pants'."
Mr Barnett said the couple had two sexual encounters in the car and a third in a "large dump area" near her home where "the ground was dirt".
According to the website report Mr Barnett said local gossip linked Ms Daniel and the boy as a couple, and the boy's father discovered she had been sending text messages to his son.
He said Ms Daniel's co-worker quizzed her about the rumours. "She denied that was so, but she did say during the conversation that (the boy) was her best friend and they were very close," he said.
The trial is continuing.
