There are a no. of them, happened in CBD,residential areas ,pubs..
But pl bear with me to share with u this 50 rifle --rounds
shooting incident.I think in USA,this can appear in prime time news.
Lets see if it will make its way into international wire agency.
The place is north north east of 50 miles from Sydney, near The Entrance.
Bullets struck with such force they went through the garage doors, brick walls and the walls of three rooms in the house, including the kitchen, lounge room and a child's bedroom.
50 rifle live rounds into a house!!
I think your first reaction ---where do the rifle and live bullets come from?
Corruptions?Lapse of gavaman agency?

New owner Glenn Blissett in his bullet-riddled lounge room.
A TUMBI Umbi house was riddled with 50 rounds of high-powered rifle fire in a bizarre early morning attack.
Two men are believed to have "shot up" the empty house at 1am on Wednesday using semi-automatic rifles.
They apparently stood at the bottom of the driveway of 17 Holland Place and took 40 seconds to fire 50 rounds into the home.
Its new owners had made final settlement on the house only hours earlier on Tuesday.
They were preparing to move into their four-bedroom dream home set on more than 9000sq m on Wednesday.
Glenn and Michell Blissett signed on the dotted line at 4.30pm and the former owners moved out at 5pm. What happened in the next few hours is the subject of a major police investigation.
Mr and Mrs Blissett are trying to come to terms with the damage, which is not covered by insurance.
Bullets struck with such force they went through the garage doors, brick walls and the walls of three rooms in the house, including the kitchen, lounge room and a child's bedroom.
Windows and light fittings were smashed.
"Devastated is an understatement," Mr Blissett said.
"Everyone has washed their hands of it including my insurance company NRMA who I have been with for more than 20 years without a claim."
They were taking out building and content insurance first thing on Wednesday but the company said it was too late.
"The neighbours have been fantastic and everyone has offered to help," he said. "This kind of thing doesn't happen here, even the police said that.
"But we have to get on with it."

hehehe....
ok back to the SOP of bad mouthing Australia.
Did the dog's master sent him here to bad mouth OZ because Singaporeans are going there in droves?
But what's the point? If not Australia, people can go to other destination as long as they get away from the despots and their money grabbing policies.
51 rounds and it would have made international headlines...yawn.....

Definitely.
I don't see any other reason for bad mouthing somebody else.
Maybe it's the norm with lionnoisy, at his workplace he bad mouths all his colleagues behind their back.
I want to move to Australia or New Zealand in the future, despite what lionnoisy has said.
Let Singapore get crowded with PRCs.
Sounds exciting!
How is this even related to Singapore politics?

Not "imagine" but a fact, at least in terms of the multitude of them.
When I applied for a work permit to work in Thailand, it was really difficult and I got it only because the company (Thai public listed company,) showed proof that it was next to impossible to find Thais that could do my job.

How come the Bali 9 or 7 can smuggled drugs from Brisbane airport
to Bali without problems for unknown no. of times?
Corruptions or lapse?

, sharp observation, good question for some Singaporean. At least the PRC in Singapore are learning Singlish, I was surprised how a shopping mall in Canada can be so much of a HK, how people living there can speak their own dialect for years without having to assimilate. I went past one US campus and boy, half the students I met were from PRC....

How about you first try to explain how this article is related to Singapore politics?

What's there to explain in relation to Singapore politics?
Unless.....you don't know Australia is also part of Asia Pacific?

you are absolutely right, besides PRC who are everywhere in singapore; you get filipino communities on the north, burmese in the west, indo in the north/west, thais in the central south, including indian who are also in the south as well as north east. if you observe, you will start to see africaans (i think nigerians or sudanese) in the north as well (woodlands area) and eastern europeans in north east/central.
my mr bean soya milk is now served by indo, common corridor swept by china-man, when i call ntuc car coop to make bookings, the filipinos handle my bookings, my favourite japanese stall in the foodcourt is now served by a chinese, my spam calls are either from filipinos or indos, even the affable grandma who cleans the table in the foodcourt i frequent is also replaced by china-woman.
i start to wonder if singaporeans have it so good that they do not want to work anymore here.
so, you are absolutely right, singapore is not only getting china immigrants.
