Hi all, just wanna ask a doubt. For people who seek treatment from private psychiatrists for depression, anxiety etc. will there be a database whereby their record be included? Will prospective employers be able to find out about these medical records during job interviews? Or will the psychiatrists keep the records confidential?
u have to declare it during the job interview what
when filling up the form
Only polyclinics and hospitals share medical records. Private doctors will not disclose your records to anyone unless you give them permission to
But if you make a false declaration in your job application form, your company can fire you when they find out about it
To be covered under any employer's employment group insurance, a typical job application form will have a 'Declaration' section at the end of the form just before your signature, which usually read,
"Have you been or are you suffering from any medical condition/
disease/ illness/ major medical condition/ mental disorder or
physical impairment?"
"Yes/ No"
"If your answer to any of the above is yes, please give details in
the space provided."
I declare that all information given herein are true and
correct. I understand that a misrepresentation or omission of facts
will be sufficient cause for cancellation of consideration for
employment or dismissal from the Company’s service if I have been
employed.

Just want to ask one more question to you guys, if a person declares that he had anxiety in the past in the job application, do you think he still has chance to get the job or most likely get rejected?
Also, do you know of any people who had seek treatment for depression etc.in the past but has managed to find a job later on?
doc will have a declaration u are fit to work
just show them
Yes, There will be a chance for rejection. But you hould be honest from your part.
