  Hi,

   

  I am curious about MRI scan. Thus, I would like to find out what is the possibility/chances for a MRI scan to be diagnosed wrongly?

  it doesn't diagnose anything
  it takes pictures of you
  a picture speaks a thousand words

  that is why in sch we have picture description in oral exam

  MRI is not always the diagnostic tool of choice to image particular tissues. For instance, Doppler ultrasound is equal or superior to an MRI for injuries or diseases of the tendons. Ultrasounds are also preferable for the imaging of fetuses during pregnancy.

  I've had an MRI scan which proved unable to detect my torn ligament. Heng got experienced doctor look at my XRAY and deduce the right problem

  MRI scans are as accurate as the doctor reading them.
