how are blood-borne diseases transmitted?
example--a t-shirt has some blood stains on it. i wash it but still got a little bit of blood stain. if the blood stain has blood that is infected by maybe HIV or something, if i wear the t-shirt, will i be infected?
thanks. i have no common knowledge on such issue
No, you won't get infected, unless you got an open wound or something for transfer. Thru body fluids lor, like having sex or something.

i was scared because the t-shirt was flown in to SG via air mail from another particular country. there were some slight reddish colouring at one part of the t-shirt. i scared it was dried blood.

hiv virus are weak when exposed to air..there are 2 kinds of hiv: hiv-1 and hiv-2. Some people are resistant to HIV.
you may be infected if the virus or bacteria is able to thrive in your stated environment. Ensure that you don't have open wounds. Anyway, just wash it with detergent. The bacteria and viruses will most probably die.
