Urm... Lately, I have been listening to musics of different frequency. I found out that there's difference between a higher frequency sound(e.g.320kbps) and a low frequency sound(e.g.128kbps). When I'm listening to the low frequency music, my ear begins to hurt a bit. Can anyone advice me how to protect your ears at the same time you're listening to music? What sound frequency is normal? Pardon for my lack of knowledge...
Wow, can quote some examples of high and low frequency music? Are we on the same planet?
Errrr...that kbps number there, is the bitrate of the music file (I'm assuming it's a MP3) which corelates with its sound quality. Your ears might be sensitive to badly-compressed MP3s.

Maybe music that are bass-heavy qualify as "low-frequency music"?
