  Hi, I need to take an MRI scan for my leg, but I don't know about the price and the place to take MRI scan. May I know where can I take an MRI scan? What is the price of taking one?

  Government hospital should be cheaper. Dont go private hospital.

  MRI at govt hospital is 50% cheaper than MRI at private hospital

  A MRI scan for brain costs about $375 at a govt hospital with subsidy, without subsidy it will cost $750.

  So, a MRI scan for one leg is likely to cost about $375 too with subsidy.

  I don't have cancer, just need to scan to see if my ligament at my knee area is ok since i injured it.

  U need doctor referral, most commonly from polyclinics, in order to get government subsidy for your MRI scan.

  Otherwise, be prepared to pay a 4 to 5-digit figure for a full body scan.

  I took x ray before, but it was not at SATA. Does that matter?
