FEVER, rashes, nausea and vomiting are some of the complaints that have been made by those who have taken the H1N1 vaccination.
As of Sunday the Health Sciences Authority has received 27 reports of adverse affects since the pandemic flu jab became available on Nov 6.
It is not clear how many people here have used the vaccine although more than 300,000 have placed orders.
A HSA spokesman said the cases reported so far were 'non-serious anticipated side effects'. 'These reactions are commonly expected from all flu vaccines and most of these reactions are resolved within a few days.'
As pandemic vaccines are usually administered on a large scale, special safety issues may arise which had not been dectected due to a lack of clinical trials.
The HSA's vigilance branch, which monitors vaccine safety on the national level, has intensified its surveillance activities to closely monitor the safety of the H1N1 vaccines that are available here.
