Received a HOTA booklet today and there are many things that are omitted from the forms. For opting out , you are only opting out not to remove the kidney, liver, heart and Cornea only. Is that means that other parts above mentioned does it means that the rest are removable?
There is no option available for total non-removable. Is this a case of misleading the public that to donate the rest of the body except the 4 organs mentioned in the form if one sign the opt out form?
Please read carefully before signing the opt out form. Is there another form available for total opt out. It is not in the website: http://www.liveon.sg
Well, hahahahahhahahahah! That is the way it is, that is the way the despots are functioning. Ambiguity "wan sui" !
Something is fishy some where, knowing the way they are they will do thorough job. In this instance there is a need for questioning why is that so.

I thought HOTA included only kidney, liver, heart and cornea to begin with?
If you want to donate anything else you need to pledge them using a certain form.
From what I know, they will not be able to remove any of your organs IF your family members disagree to it, despite giving your own consent to it.
i wonder which part of me still can use after i die
simple la..live till the age of 60 and beyond, afterwhich they won't be able to do a hota on you
Your body and its parts belong to the state.
Really.
but isn't it worth while to give your organs to those who really needs it?
just wondering if my family members get priority next time they need an organ transplant?

according to the booklet, those who agree to hota will receive priority with regards to orgran transplant should they need it.
but then if 70% of people in singapore agree to it or just bo chap to opt out...then how priority can u get priority among nearly 3 million people?

Now no age limit, later no part limit.
State property.
