sebaceous cysts

  Hi, i recently developed a bump on my skin. I thought it was a pimple and messed around with it till white pus started coming out of it. I later found out on the net that i had developed a sebaceous cyst. Will it go away if I leave it alone? I do not want to see doctor because of personal reasons.

  If it just sebaceous cyst there should not be pus.  Sounds like it is infected, as you have been 'messing' with it. If it is a sebaceous cyst and has ruptured, there can be an inflammatory reaction to it and make it worse. Surgical excision may be required. If it is not infected, don't mess with it. If it is infected, you may need antibiotics.
