That's possible but at your age? Straighten your forearm and raise your palm (like doing taichi or pushing against a wall). This stretches the median nerve in the carpal tunnel and if you get the same tingling it could be carpal tunnel syndrome.
It may come and go though...the median nerve runs through a tunnel beneath the flexor retinaculum and if the tunnel is obstructed by soft tissue swelling for whatever reason, you get the symptoms. If it is transient, that's ok...if it is persistent, you need to be investigated to see if there is something more serious.
