  Are there spectacles in the market that cater to both short and long-sighted at the same time?

  yes.
  they "split" the lens into upper portion (to see far) and bottom portion (to see close, for reading)

  they r called bi-focals... older models u can see the split in the diff lens. now with modern tech. they luk jus like any other specs.

  Don't know about prices of lenses in Singapore....check with your optician.
