Ever been admitted into any hospital before?
Doesn't really matter if it's for a small matter or a big matter, we'd like to hear from your experience, your fear, your frustrations, your decision making, your sadness and finally your relief...

I was admitted even don't know how many times exactly, I was a kid. I hated it because I stayed without parents. And then the surgeries after which I couldn't leave the bed nor move. I was left to the mercy (or cruelty) of the nurses when I needed to pee or to drink. Sometimes the nurses forgot the thermometer under my armpit, or worse, in my a s s.
I couldn't sleep at night because the light was on and I could hear the nurses spooking in the corridor and also becasue I couldn't move and stayed in the same position all the time, what a pain.
I was thirsty and needed to pee, then no nurse was around and I didn't have this switch with which you can call the nurse near my bed. But when I didn't need any nurse, more of them were spooking around and disturbing my sleep! -
I find admissions fun towards the very recuperating stage... was admitted in a surgical unit for appendectomy and circumcision a long time ago, probably more than 15 years ago... was like a sheep before the surgery, scared and trembling with fear...
But once I rested enough after surgery, I keep beeping the nurses for trivial matters (like dunno how to on the TV, wan some water, wan my toy bear on the floor, wan bed time story etc) and make them work their arses off for the amount of money my parents paid
they were quite pissed off with me... but fortunately and luckily I didn't stay too long to be their victim of vengeance...
Pretty much a nasty fella when I was young... eh

i am a goody gal when i was hospitalize during young time.
was hospitalize due to drowning incident whereby i am in coma for abt 1 mth.
and lung flood with water. hee...
but i like to stay in hospital coz i am staying there like a princess where everyone visit and take turn to company me.
Still rem lots of dolls and bears as gifts. (young time family was quite poor so no toys, all my toys was earn thru these)
Heavy price to pay for huh.. -

Toa Payoh Hospital. 1991. Due to stress ( sch exams ). Very scary becoz at nite, this hospital ( no more around ) like machiam the old changi hospital. That time I stay in C-ward, meaning you can find all old folks there. Its a nitemare for me @ nite becoz some of them juz refuse to sleep and talk thru out the nite.

You must be suffering from fluid and electrolytes imbalance and put on IV fluids? -

admitted due to very high fever... 1 night nia... very scared... A1 summo But shiok ah... the food very nice

Arrhythmia... oh my... that's really bad... better not be stressed up in the near future, you'd know stress exacerbates the heart and exaggerate any underlying cardiac abnormalities... care to share if you know the diagnosis?Originally posted by Manager433:no. Reasons behind this? Well, a few hours before I was admitted in the hospital, I had duck rice and a cup of coffee. -
