  It's the practical labwork that is interesting...I would choose a course that has lots of lab work...If you are interested in molecular genetics and good in IT as well, there is a possibility of going into bioinformatics...a new and important field.
  
  But have to warn you that science does not pay that well...especially when there are lots of Chinese scientists coming over at low pay...

  Bioinformatics... read up on it, doesn't seem to interest me despite having the IT element.
  
  But the most important question is, what to study? I really don't know. Most of the science courses seem to be overlapping. Or should I be taking a broad-based course?
