Anyway, I was 'talking cock' at the canteen today with some researchers in neuroscience...we were speculating on the possibility of delivering small amounts of dopamine to deal with heartaches...the romantic kind, not heart attacks. It has been shown that romantic feelings come upon as a result of activation of the dopaminergic pathway...
Perhaps one day instead of having a girlfriend, people will just buy a vial of dopamine from the pharmacy...but not too much, cos' too much dopamine gives you psychosis. Gives new meaning to the phrase, "Madly in love".. -
