exam coming next monday and tuesday, very nervous as my timing for perming is still lagging behind. Hopefully on the day i would get distracted.

Yeah, initially it was used prior to surgery to clear out the stomach contents to prevent aspiration pneumonia intraoperatively. It is also being used quite commonly for dyspepsia. It has minimal action on the lower gut hence it is not often used for constipation. Usually they will be prescribed along with another laxative called syrup lactulose if the patient has both upper and lower GI symptoms... -
