Near Death Experience

Have you ever experienced one of those times when you are so ill that you believe that you are about to kick the bucket or buy the farm?
Or, was it an accident, a near-miss accident when you are driving on the road?
I'm interested to hear from you, so do share it here and especially how you feel when you are spared from the death sentence...

From a story i heard! Think from Wu Zhong Xian~
"I nearly died of a freaking major heart-attack when I saw 2 assholes on my baby's bum when i was cleaning her!
My heart shalted...untill my hubby shouted at me to quit staring at e baby's backside...
And just wipe e sh|tstain off...
That was e other "asshole"...."

I was riding my bike in a dark alley and made a turn at a T-junction towards the right... I saw a stationary (or so it seems) truck parked right in front of me.
Ignoring it, I kept riding towards it and attempt to go pass it by moving to the other side of the lane. As I was about to turn my bike, the truck suddenly reversed towards me and knocked me down my bike.
I was about to get scrammed, when the driver stepped on the emergency brake right when the tyres were about to roll through my right ankle.
He got out from his truck and apologized to me for more than I can count, and paid me RM 20 for compensation...
That gave me a mixed feeling... but heck... I am so glad to be alive... -
There was this other time when I was driving my car and coming out from a T-junction.
It was a one-way road, so I looked towards the right for any cars passing by. Aside from a construction truck parked and occupied nearly half the road, there were not much cars passing by.
I decided to wait for a few more seconds, still no car, and no sound of car coming by. So I made my turn. Just as I was about to move towards one-half of the lane, a car travelling at a velocity of about 70-80 km/h sped through right in front of my face without giving a sh.it of who is turning out.
He had about 20m to see me after passing through the construction truck, but I guess since it was 11.45 pm at night, speeders usually came out.
It didn't scrape my car, but it was a near-distant, about a few centimeters off. The driver even dared to flare his middle finger out from his window after he sped by.
It sure send palpitations and profuse sweating down my panicked body...
What a night! -
so far..i m *blessed*...
maybe i guess roads in SG are safer in some sense...

I remembered that one time I overworked. That day I was having science and it is very hard. I cracked my brain so hard that when I went home, I had no energy left. I ate some biscuits, had my dinner and went to sleep immediately. I thought I would be all right the next day. But I was wrong. The next day, I could barely crawl out of my bed. I had to force myself to drink sugar water (sugar added to hot water) to provide myself with the energy to go and see doctor. That day I thought I really was going to die. After this lesson, I never work as hard. If not, I think I will really die.

I have few experiences, and also one of my mom, she was clinically dead but she "returned" back. Will post them later as I just came home and feel like having a temperature. Need to rest for a while and eat something.

Accident a couple of years ago when my car skidded around a curve on an expressway, my car did a 360 degree turn and while turning, bang on the sides of the tunnel, and when it stop, was facing oncoming traffic.
It was ... really strange cos... it probably didn't take longer than a few seconds when the car started turning and hitting the sides of the tunnel but.... suddenly time started slowing down, and I could remember myself thinking whole sentences like.. "wa..lao... don't tell me this is how its going to end huh.... sigh... .. why soo suay one..." -
interesting..yeah think tat was wat my friend went thru as well..seems like ur last few seconds of ur life..who are u gonna think of? wat have u left not done? really going to die? its quite scary sometimes..
but everything okie w u now? -
They say before you die, your whole life reflects across your eyes... dunno how true is that... but oh well, at least when we experience near death experience, we'd be more cautious and love-life more in the future...

currently i have 4 ceramic teeth, and cannot crack hard stuff like gua zhi ... -
I had a viral fever once (intermittent fever, it goes up and comes down and then spikes again)...
Whole joint was painful, the back of my eyes were burning, and my throat was dry, and when I was walking back from the clinic, I didn't notice a pothole, because I was very dizzy... had to go alone because there was no one home...
I stepped onto the pothole without noticing and sprained my right ankle and bruised my right elbow...
Lied down on the bed to elevate my leg for 2 days... with the viral fever not wanting to go... it's really killing... pray for death somemore, coz the pain was unbearable...
Lasted for more than 5 days before I actually got better to walk around... -
