A maths? POA?

1)Should I take A maths or POA?
2)Whats the difference between them?

add maths teaches u functions, sets, calculus and vectors.
poa is simply accounts.
only with add maths can u take maths c (and f maths) for ur a levels, and is hence an impt subject if u're planning to go jc. -
if i dont take A maths, can I go JC?

Only if you are really weak in Maths should you take POA.While POA is a easier subject, If you take A-Maths in 'O' level it will help you anywhere you go.Poly,JC and even admission into the Uni

Cos u might need a background in A Maths to do some of the maths modules in poly..
example: engineering maths and Statistics for biz -

If you have interest in physic and is taking pure physic, you should take A math. If you have no interest in math, POA is for you.

Last time in my school those express students whose sec 2 Maths results are not that good are to study POA instead of A Maths and I was one of those who studies POA instead of A Maths. But for us we never planned to go JC instead so it was not an issue.
In the end when I took an engineering course in poly those who didn't took A Maths (or failed A Maths in O lvl) were to attend a preparation course before orientation week...
