oops... off topic
That's not my sector, it's more of under cosmetic surgery or plastic surgery consultant's specialty. But as an advice, I would not recommend any beautifying products, as most of it is not evidence based i.e. no clinical trial studies on randomized population has been done, even though some have, it is not long enough to satisfy those duration of 20 years set by WHO.
Hence we do not know what the side effects may be. They popularized their products solely based on a few claims at a short period of time. Remember thalidomide and tamoxifen?
They were thought to be extremely useful, so they shorten the clinical trial by a few number of years, but it was not after 5 years later, did they found that complications started to arise, where the children born to mothers using thalidomide having no limbs and those using tamoxifen for b.reast cancer therapy started developing cervical cancer after 15 years of using it (the trials lasted less than that because the response to b.reast cancer was so good that they decided they actually found the cure to it).
However, the patient's right to choose which type of medicine for their beautification must be respected, hence there is really nothing much to argue with them, coz in the end, they will end up experimenting it despite the fact of whether you advise them or not. But of course, our duty is still to advise them...
You're right, it's a lil off topic, if you have any queries, you can PM me...
