I have enrolled my child during Jan 2011 for intake in 1st June 2011 and was inform that there is vacancy. Until yesterday which is 12 May 2011, they told me there is no more vacancy for my child and will try to appeal to mcys but can only let me know by end of May. What is this?
When I question the principle on why till now then told me no vacancy, since the enrollment is on Jan and have confirmed my child will be going in in 1st Jun..... the principle's reply was "You cannot be so unreasonable..... how can we predict the future?"
They don't even know how many children their childcare can take in? Such a small centre and they can't even manage it properly.... Are they employing the right person to be the principle?
Are they giving empty promises in case there in no students.... and now demand is there they never wait for those enroll first???

It's just like enrolling into pri sch for kids when the parents are not old boy/ ger or have siblings in the pri sch

Sorry if I add fuel into it.
It beats me wonder why they cant confirm since enrolment is at jan.
Maybe some fishy matters are behind the public back.
Waiting for some damn rich or some coes or ministers or mps children to enrol for the school.
They might KIV your child applicaton hopefully someone with high post high family life style will take over the place.

Please enrol your child in another center and stop wasting your time complaining in the forums.
If you are serious about your complaint, please bring it out to the servant of the people that you have just voted.
He or she will ensure prompt actions will be taken.
By that time that the issue is resolved, your child should old enough to enrol for primary 1.

there's actually not many places available in a kindergarden esp in Jurong West. I'm not joking abt this.
It sucks to be living in Jurong East/ West Ave 1 for anything

It not just enroll them in Jan.... but is with all those paperworks done for her child to enter in 1st June.....

I've also enrol my 2nd child to that childcare in Jan 2011, where my eldest child is currently in. All paperworks signed and confirm admission..... but now then say no vacancy.... what have they been doing?

that place is just a stone throw away from me :-D hehe~
the facilities are great, but... not many children actually....

bcoz even the cheap FTs find themselves very much underpaid and left....
Thus the centre is trying to import Aliens from Mars which take light years to arrive....
So yes, no vacancy due to lack of staff.

Their principle really sucks.... Don't they have any min requirement to become the principle? Can't even give a proper reason when questions are being brought up to her.... Instead of giving a valid reason.... She raised her voice..... Really faint....

554... Very near... Me at 550.... Don't think I want to try anymore... Will get them to where my eldest child previously from... Rainbow at boon lay shopping centre.... Only problem is quite far away... N there is 3 child gg at the same time... If not becoz of this I'll not change school for her lor... Cos rainbow quite good in teaching.... My child learn lots of new things there.... But not in little wing... I can say... Learn nothing there...

Must be KS? I've already been very KS to registered them in jan... Half year b4 entering... It's the school error to overlook on the existing child from infant care which will be promoted to playground... How can they told me they can't predict the future? Don't tell me they don't even know how many child the school can take in... N how many existing? Can't the principle just admit their mistake n apologised? I've already told her that I can wait for 2-3 months.... I just need them to admit their mistake... Is it really so difficult?

Instead of apologising, the principle raised her voice at me.... Wats this? I can't take it when she scream at me like tat.... I hvnt raised my voice, she dare to raised hers... Feel like giving her 2 tight slaps. How can a principle be like this?

little wing.. go there is play play only.. very similar to scotish style of kindergarten. but the thing is... scotland have very organised curriculum for pre-schoolers i.e. learning by playing.. while our side is play without learning

by right, it's there overlook. You can visit the MPs at meet the people session. I believe they'll be very helpful. it's clearly the principal's overlook on the matter, you will get a formal apology letter if you raise the issue to MP.
