Why americans are so arrogant?

why? in youtube, in most.. and when i mean most i mean 99% of them in the youtube videos. When the videos show some Asian person doing idiotic stuff, they will blurted out "stupid asians" or "this is asia for u" etc. They even insult British saying "its funny because their are british" and something like that or even more. And u guys know about that green hornet douche actor offend singapore in some talk show. Its funny because they have jersey shore which is seriously the most retarded show i've seen and they are from america but i dont say bad stuff about america. I just say bad stuff only to that group of people. And dont let me started on miley cyrus, heck even most americans hate her. But i dont blame the whole of america because of her.
seriously, why are they so fucking narrow minded and yet cocky? believe it or not, some of the americans also said that we learn english because america culture. what?
btw japan is mostly likely well-known throughout the world with their culture but they dont go bragging about it. Americans really think that they are the king of the world. seriously. Idiotic caucasian.

If you studied sociology, you will know that westerner tends to have an individualistic mindset due to their individualism culture. While for asian, it's collectivisim culture, so we tend to be more collectivist.

honestly speaking, you are indirectly supporting my question.
Look at japan. They sell and i mean THEY SELL lots and lots of manga and anime related products throughout the world. Their technology is seriously like something at the future. USA, singapore, brazil and many more countries actually have this anime expo but look at them they dont produce an insult to other countries like as if they are kings of the virtual world. Canada invented handphones. Without canada, we cant do shit but just look at them. We singaporeans, number one airport in the world but you dont see us said other countries airport suck.

The most is a good steak. Where got culture. Rock music, cowboys are culture meh.
So crude compared to the 5000 years ancient wisdom of China , India, Japan, Korea and Thailand.
In Asia, americans are damn uncultured for our standard. So usually they are cocky since they only think theirs are the No 1 , the best in the world.

That aside, despite Hofstede's (1980) study of IBM offices worldwide demonstrating a cultural difference in individualism/collectivism, the typical American "USA! USA!" chant at sporting matches is evidence against Western individualism. Also, Hofstede is a psychologist, not a sociologist.
A much more appropriate explanation is Henri Tajfel and John Turner's (1979) Social Identity Theory (or if you want to go further back, Leon Festinger's (1954) Social Comparison Theory) , which addresses the "us-versus-them" mentality, and explains how and why outgroups are identified and descriminated against. -

Simi democracy? They get to choose a government once every four years, and the rest of the time a bunch of guys in DC make the decisions for them.
That said, having two major parties duking it out over decisions provides come checks and balances that keep the big boys honest to some extent. You'll never see Singapore's thinly-veiled monarchy coping with that.
