We have signed up MIO home package in end November 2009, but until now mid january 2010, we still do not have the phone line and broadband ready.
Singtel technicians had come to our place 3 times, issues still do not resolved. The customer service personnel wanted us to agree the $600 termination charge before she would transfer the line to the termination department. They wnat the consumer to pay their mistake even you did not enjoy any of their service.
Also, their sale personnel can promise you anything but never keep their promise. Sale personnel, TERRENCE, has promised to terminate our subcription if the issue did not resolve after 3rd appointment. But this person seemed to be disappeared from this world, nothing is heard from him.
Today, the technical department manager, MS MINA, has informed us their system has showed all problems have been resolved, ask us to test once we get home. It is simply a bull shit and waste of our time.
To our disappointment, SINGTEL, which boost to have the best technology and widest coverage in the nation, cannot even plan and coordinate a simple installation for a household. They keep on wasting consumer time and do not fulfill their duty, the work is just simply monitored the computer screen

erm TS say he signed up the mio package in november last eyar and until now its still not ready.
So did TS pay the subscription fees for december?
If no than I think its ok just wait for them..

it was kinda "forced" to gimme
they were giving it out like fwee hot cakes
free box, free installation, free 6 mths subscription
a chio lady came to my door one nite and threw the deal to me
installation, setup was smooth like lao sai
but im going to terminate it in a couple of mths, bcos no more good deals (aka FWEE) oredi

there is no pt calling the technical, sale or watever dept. they are just trying to end the call. u need to speak to the real mgt (above mgrs), i mean singaporean, not the malaysians, indians, filipinos etc etc.. who will tell u
1 - "there is DEFINITELY no problem at our end. We can send a technician down for a line check"
2.- "ok sir/mdm, i will check and call you back"
or the famous 3 - "this our our company policy"
btw u are in the wrong forum. go hardware zone and see the no of complaints against singtel/singnet! most likely u only need to read, all the probs have been brought up.
Dont sign with them! or else wats the pt of complaining and still go with them. this is y they cannot be bothered with users' problem, because u are just 1 in a million

You are not the only one who had such a bad experience with Singtel, I signed up for the broadband internet once for my laptop, and the thing didnt work, brought it to their office next day and they said it was my laptop's fault. Nice service.

Customer service in spore really telok!
Once goods purchase from one company, will be hard to ask them if going forward.
The design of the MioTV modem is quite bad.
I only join Singtel for my handphone, fixed line and boradband.
So far so good.
Mine is singtel broadband....gg to terminate and go for m1 soon.
