Complacency

  Our dear government think that paying themselves high high will prevent corruption....but it created another evil......... complacency........when ppl are paid too high.....they got disconnected from the real world... they thought they are god... they are always right...but that's when things usually goes wrong...

  i got a boss who is an president scholar... his pay of cos high high....but he is still hard working.. cos although his pay is high it's still a reasonable amount for his standard and level.....

  then i got another colleague.... an amercian.... dun have alot of toilet paper.. but alot of experience...then got a job in my company paying him over SGD20K per mth....he is good.. but.... 20K??? and he's just handling small project in worldwide standard...so.. just got fired recently....cos he is too expensive for his own good...even 10K will be not bad for him already... so now... he worry liao... wife and children how?? go back usa meh? unemployment rate so high there now....but before he got the letter from HR he still think he's one of those untouchable in the company.......... u see... too complacent already...

  then.. working with an indian recently too... and he's paid around 14k...... just a doing a QS or commerical manager role nia....also small project nia.... just imagine.. SGD14K in india is how much already??? from the way he reply his email... i dun even think his english is good... and he cant speak chinese or cantonese while he is working in macau... i mean.. india got so make talent that are better than him for sure...but because he is paid so high... he will think he is an untouchable too...

  then finally got another boss.. very senior too... paid at least 30K... sales guy.... but then again...if his pay is like 15K or 20K i also think it's worth it lor... but 30K??? siao meh.....again he think very very big about himself too.....

  so...... i think it's very important not to overpay someone too....i just make them complacent and then they will no longer work hard.....cos they are in their own world already... in heaven liao...and soon... they will screw up........so........ paying high high dun always have good ending one....
