Took me four attempts just to clear the first lesson.
In the end, I quit.
I just couldn't get the hang of things.... and it really bothered me that to switch from 1st to second gear, the bike will have to momentarily be at neutral gear.
In the end, I took driving. Auto transmission. I found it so much easier.
I guess I don't do well with clutches.
You lacked resolve
Where did you do your riding?
It's similar to driving a manual vehicle - accelerator up, clutch in, shift gear, release clutch bla bla bla.. Except for bike... Instead of accelerator, you get throttle.. instead of foot on the clutch and hand on the gear... it's the opposite...
I guess it just takes getting used to But it's fun.. I think riding is therapeutic..
Me thinks riding bikes = suicide mission.

Ubi.
Simply put, it was taking up too much time and money, and as an undergraduate who was rushing to do assignments and counting pennies, I couldn't afford that.

Yup, because in a crash there's nothing to cushion the impact but your body.

Driving.... I took private lessons.
My test was at Ubi.
In a way, taking your test in a congested region can be a good thing. You're forced to drive more slowly and to be more careful in your handling of the car.

Correct.
That is why it's not enough just to ride safely, we have gotta ride defensively.
