another alternative (though i have no idea if this is possible) is that you take something else that is related. and when you're done that, you go to a private uni and take a bunch of courses to complete the event management degree.
hmm... the going to pte uni and taking the courses sounds interesting..but i have no idea whether its possible also -

I got A- for it! Ain't too bad right? Spent 1 minute studying how the doc pokes the needle in and observing the blood fill up the syringe and then pull it out. I completed the test when the doc asked me to press hard on the cotton swab over the opening.

My first riding practical today...
One part of the lesson was on releasing the bike from mainstand, I lifted the handlebars to build some momentum, then quickly pushed the bike forward to release it from the mainstand..
The mainstand released, the bike tumbled forward and caught me off-guard.. I practically used every ounce of my forearm/lower back strength to keep it from falling...
I clearly forgotten that the bulky shat weighed like 130kg I'm still a little unsteady when riding, especially when shifting down the gear.. the whole notion of braking, clutching, shifting is so strangely foreign, even though I drive. It's the same procedure but the hands-legs movement is just so different.
Managed to bag 1.01 today... Was expecting to complete 1.02 as well... I'm not disappointed though, at least I didn't crash or fall
Oh ya.. There was this malay dude who was along with me, doing 1.01 as well.. He's probably around 1.6m tall and 45 kg..
He was struggling so much with the mainstand/pushing part, it was comical... But thankfully, he managed to clear .01 too 
He rode better than me though

I took riding lessons.
Took me four attempts just to clear the first lesson.
In the end, I quit.
I just couldn't get the hang of things.... and it really bothered me that to switch from 1st to second gear, the bike will have to momentarily be at neutral gear.
In the end, I took driving. Auto transmission. I found it so much easier.
I guess I don't do well with clutches.
