fcuk you.
You know who goes to Australia for a tertiary education? Yes, the rejects who could not get a place in the universities of Singapore, England and United States for a want of merit and qualifications. Plus, we're talking about a "human resource" degree no less -- the equivalent of the useless degrees in Singapore (business, commerce, management and the like) and the lowest common denominator of all degree courses.
I'd be thoroughly ashamed to tell people that I'm a "human resource" graduate from Australia.

They're misled, that's why.
Just do some research on how many employers just don't give a crap about MBA's and would rather hire an employee with a proven track record over another with an oh-so-glorious MBA from an oh-so-big-shot school like Wharton. More and more studies are also showing that the MBA is ineffective in grooming management-quality professionals, the very objective of a typical MBA course.
Have you met an MBA graduate in your life?
education through cert is only education in the eyes of academics...
schools make money with expensive certs...
if there were free uni, i bet there'd be many people who could easily get high paying jobs...
then again, i bet those jobs won't be high paying with saturation...
this is how the world works i guess...money money money...
rm: damn true
profiling people through their education background is just retarded...
people are just becoming like ants...getting a degree just for the high paying job rather than for the profession...

not old enough...
but i do know for sure that most higher management, except for the owner, always has a master's degree.
the owner can be PSLE graduate, since he is the real boss.

i don't, they can be more down-to-earth and honest
but i will look down on those lower educated people who are uncouth, loud and arrogant

so what should one do for college then?
the feeling of being look down is terrible
and yes, with the cert i'm holding and recession, i'm afraid it would be difficult to look for a job in the near future
i dun look down but then the important thing is that you dun look down on urself can le
and don't think too highly of yourself also

I have a good job. The pay is good. Lots of free time. Who says O levels cannot get a good job? Although it is only until April/May next year. Even security guards cant reach my daily pay. More than $70 a day. Lots of free time and food on evenings. I must admit I am rather lucky though.
