I Lost all many of my C drive Data... T_T

  Just got my computer back from the shop... apparently there was some problem with the window so I requested to reinstall my window but back up my data... I specifically ask for My Documents to be Backed up... but the noob shop keeper just back up the D drive My Documents and forgot about the C drive... I lost a lot of data incuding my musics, downloads, torrents and most importantly pictures...

  But lucky I manage to recover some of the picture files but the rest are lost...

  Go call the shopkeeper and holler at him....

  But in any case.... did you ask him to backup all your data or only that particular folder?

  Yes I did... My particulars words were to back up my "my documents" and not to touch my D drive... but what he did was back up my D drive and formatted my C Drive...

  Now doing some Data recovery... managed to recover 6000 files but all jumbled up... It will take me days to sort this out...

  Can anyone suggest for me a free picture restoration program...? Some of the my pictures recovered are corrupted...

  http://mozy.com/home i use the free version to auto back-up my files...there's space restriction for the free version, so be selective...

  Of all the rotton luck... My com just now kena virus and spyware attack... My desktop suddenly full of shortcuts to porn sites...  zzz kena reformat again... This time I download avg first b4 downloading other things like mircosoft office...
