speaking of this, last evening when i was on my way home, i met this lady (abt late 30s to early 40s) who fell and broke her leg!!!! her knee cap was severely dislocated. i wobbled very unslighly to isetan and grabbed the 1st shoes i saw.
Mango was having sale, the shoe cost around $80
No choice, shops closing.
After paying, i realised the shoes were very very uncomfortable..
I walked to Nine West and bought another pair for $135
no choice cos late for my appointment liao..
total damage: $212+
but guess wat..?? there was no bloody reception as we were in the underpass. so i ran out to make the call. the ambulance came about 15mins later and took her away.
imagine if i wasnt there and no one bother to help her and she has to suffer dunno for how long. every passerby just simply did not bother to help her. that's amazing....cant believe singaporeans are *&^%ing sick people. I'm beginning to dislike singaporeans because they have no conscience and intuition to help others. -

frankly, if I were in the gals' shoes, I would not know how to help you also if you were to ask me to buy shoes for you.
What I could have done is to carry/assist you back to Wisma and maybe you can then buy a pair yourself.
and perhaps I can help get some wet tissues, so that you can at least clean your feet.
but then giving money and asking someone to buy you a pair, just sounds a bit out of place for me. -
