Fujitsu laptop is not bad. My friend one is still working nicely after 3 years. IBM Lenovo also not bad too.

Sadly.... it compromises on quality highlight to see.
Compaq is better in reliability, but the specs and price would not be as good.
My classmate uses acer and has lots of cork ups,sony doesn't have any problm so far. -

Acer quality sucks de larh really . I buy a new com at $999. 2 weeks later the LCD monitor was burnt. Cant use it for a week.
Then recently , a new problem arises . Was solved tho.
Next time dun dare use Acer liao. -

So, every semester, I will reformat at least 3-5 times, depending how bad my laptop's situation is...

Last time I also had to call them to remind them to fix it, otherwise lying at their centre idle for a whole week. They fixed it within 2 hrs after I called.

lcd dunno lah, but at least acer from all feedbacks seem to have pretty good ones.

Otherwise, everything runs fine.
And I still have to say they returned me an non-working laptop.
First thing back to school I asked my cousin to reformat and do the domain stuffs.
1. Can't reformat, keeps hanging.
2. Tried using the CD, can't read CD drives.
3. Tried repairing Windows, repair halfway hang.
After 5 hours of trial and error, finally something works, but it will still hang while booting up or while logging in to Windows.
I think Acer not only replaced with another spoilt mobo for me, but also a spoilt CD-ROM drive.
Waited 2 months... give me this crap.
Now I really da chu xue. Need to buy a desktop and laptop. -

Compaq is rubbish. Their laptops are very gimmicky and the build quality is awful.
Their Desktops when they first came out was rubbish. I decided not to buy compaq and managed to hold off doing so until about a decade later. Then I bought a compaq laptop. It is sh[b]it.

Dell - only servers are good. RP using Dell servers... very zai and very fast. Cool. I like.
Lenovo - holy crap. I won't recommend this. Specs are as nice as Acer laptops, but doesn't last long. Older laptops that are bought over by Lenovo and still carries the IBM laptops are good though, but specs are little on the low side and price a little on the high side.
Apple - Never use before, no comments. -
