its difficult to judge the time needed to cross the road against the timer.Originally posted by hisoka:the female also buay zhi dong
There was once I was in a hurry to get back to office when a girl about 18 or 19 years old cross the look with her eyes locked on the handphone walking behind a woman which I presume is her mother. She suddenly stopped in front of my path. I got no time to honk her and was concentrating on my brake. It gave such a loud screeching sound that everybody just stopped and stare. That girl was startled and frozen there. If she had dashed accross, thing would had been better. But she just stood there. I cannot change lane but to drive along. I managed to stop in time but not without the smoke coming out from my car. I thought my car was a goner then .... I have learned to slow down especially in buzy street ..Originally posted by token141:Not sure about this lady... but as a driver, I've encountered many pedestrians who still choose to cross a road even when the traffic light has a timer that says, for example, less than 3 to 4 seconds left. Of course, I never honked at them. I understand for some old folks....who walk slowly...nevermind. But there are many young guys/gals, listen to handphone, still walk slowly when timer going down to zero..... really buay zi tong...
not that hard, the female was obviously planning to overshoot. note that even after the timer ends theres at least 2 seconds b4 the light turns green, and thats only if the light is only for pedestrain crossings.Originally posted by dragg:its difficult to judge the time needed to cross the road against the timer.
she wasnt jaywalking.
she was just a few seconds short. the driver could have just waited a few more seconds before accelerating. instead he chose to scare her by honking and driving straight at her.
ya lorOriginally posted by rathcycle:she never follow traffic rules
she must have walk only when the green man is blinking
that much is true.Originally posted by hisoka:not that hard, the female was obviously planning to overshoot. note that even after the timer ends theres at least 2 seconds b4 the light turns green, and thats only if the light is only for pedestrain crossings.
from the description, i'm guessing the female was walking slowly and not trying to urry across cos she on the wrong end of the lights.
erm i would say he is telling her off, abeilt fiercely.Originally posted by dragg:that much is true.
but i dont see the need for him to be so mean.
after all its not like he is just giving her a telling off. driving aggressively and honking loudly is really uncalled for.
