i saw a man driving towards a lady at the traffic lights immediately after it turned green. he was honking very loudly.
he really gave her a scare.
cant he be patient? after all it was only a few seconds.

she was just a few seconds short. the driver could have just waited a few more seconds before accelerating. instead he chose to scare her by honking and driving straight at her. -

Not sure about this lady... but as a driver, I've encountered many pedestrians who still choose to cross a road even when the traffic light has a timer that says, for example, less than 3 to 4 seconds left. Of course, I never honked at them. I understand for some old folks....who walk slowly...nevermind. But there are many young guys/gals, listen to handphone, still walk slowly when timer going down to zero..... really buay zi tong...

There was once I was in a hurry to get back to office when a girl about 18 or 19 years old cross the look with her eyes locked on the handphone walking behind a woman which I presume is her mother. She suddenly stopped in front of my path. I got no time to honk her and was concentrating on my brake. It gave such a loud screeching sound that everybody just stopped and stare. That girl was startled and frozen there. If she had dashed accross, thing would had been better. But she just stood there. I cannot change lane but to drive along. I managed to stop in time but not without the smoke coming out from my car. I thought my car was a goner then .... from the description, i'm guessing the female was walking slowly and not trying to urry across cos she on the wrong end of the lights. -

she must have walk only when the green man is blinking
singapore traffic-man lights made it such that there is time enough for you talk cross the road even if u are slower than an ant..
and there is like 2 seconds in between pedestrain light turning red and traffic lights turning green
what's more.. when the man is red.. she should run across
who tell her walk slowly ?
the man maybe is on his way go hospital to take a last look at his relative and this guai lan women in front of him wasted his 3-5 seconds which might cause him to be a second late when seeing his dead relative.. -

but i dont see the need for him to be so mean.
after all its not like he is just giving her a telling off. driving aggressively and honking loudly is really uncalled for. -
