Helping people but getting scolded instead

Just remember.... at the end of the day, do whatever that you know is right.
If they want to be ungrateful, then so be it.... let them be the ingrates. Just make sure that you remain as the nice guy who helps others regardless of the gratitude that you get (or the lack of it). -

I don't hate them.... I just pity them for not being able to show proper gratitude.
I thank my SMM instructors for their advice on why we should help others regardless of what they do to you. Their words of wisdom got me through some of the toughest times I had when I was in uniform.
Mother Theresa once had a saying on this.... will try to go dig it up. -
