He can come up to 45 mins late and doesnt bother to call or sent a sms notifying me.His tardiness irritates me greatly sometimes.

Better still, get your parents to sack him. If my son's tutor is like yours, he will not last a month with us.

There are many more tutors out there who can show a better sense of responsibility.
On my part, I inform my students well in advance if I can't make it for any tuition session... and even then, only after trying to avoid any schedule clashes as much as possible. -
