Ya lor... for me it been awhile, ever since I recontract my plan to 10mbps last month... The internet keep getting random short (about 2-10sec) disconnection then reconnect back. Sometime the disconnection can last for a few mins.
I called singtel they give what bullsh!t reason say maybe it because of wireless interference that disrupted the connection say its not their fault. They also added that their server side did not show any problems.
They think I so noob at PC is it, dunno what is disconnection between wireless and internet. I saw with my own eyes that the led representing the broadband link blinking and the router page showing a disconnection from ISP. Told them this, they still give me that same old wireless disruption and their server no problem bullsh!t.
Make me call them f**king 3 times and tell them that don't give me the same old bullsh!t again then they decided to change their reason, seeing it didn't work on me anymore, to 'Oh I think maybe its your router problem, please call this number to contact 2wire' then I was like wtf, u give me this router then don't solve my problem then push the problem to the router manufacturer.
Seriously, I don't think its the router problem unless u tell me all my f**king 3 router at home spoil at the same time. I figured that the problem maybe the line is noisy so I request them to send someone down to check the line, then they quickly say 'no, their server no problem' then insist in asking me to call router manufacturer.
Wtf, your server no problem doesn't means my line to your server no problem is it? Say what their log showed that I'm connected all the times with no short disconnection shown, then how you explain my internet disconnected?
So, I say fine I will call the manufacturer. Then when I call the number so many time, guess what? All never got through, say what line busy ask me wait. Wait for 30 min then I was like wtf? After that I decided to just forget it.
WTF man, is it so hard to send one f**king guy down to just check the phone line?
After that comes the anime crackdown incident, then all edvidence directed that singtel revealed customers information to that d@mn AVPA without proper papers.
With all this, I lost my trust that I have on singnet for 4 years. I decided that once my contract end which is about 2 years later from now, I will sign up for starhub instead.
The reason I never signed up for starhub is because a few years back (about 4-5 years) when I tried to activate the line to use starhub cable vision, I could not due to some problems. So I say since I have no problem with singnet, why not just continue using it? Then now all sort of f**ucking problem show up, regretted it, deeply regretted recontracting.
Moral of the my experience? Never sign up for singnet. Bad technical support, Bad protection on customers privacy.
Oh yea, once my mobile contract end, I will sign up for M1 instead. So what Singtel coverage is better? Serve them right for giving me sh!t. -
STARHUB FTW IN BROWSING! however theres downsides like you cant do gaming with a unstable ping.

No, I suspect that either my phone line condition deteriorated or my block/area line condition to the server deteriorated that caused 'noisy' in the line. One of the technical officer also pointed out this possiblity but he say before he send someone down to check ask me do something first to see then call back. When I call back, never kena him, keep kena-ing the other useless technical officers.
