Well, there's really not much I can say about this, except to take it as a hard lesson in keeping your belongings safe.
And after you get your next SIM card, you may want to clone it into a duplicate SIM card. Then if you lose one SIM card, you can at least have a duplicate card so that you don't lose your contacts.
If I'm not wrong, the telco companies all provide this service for a fee. -
last time my hp dropped down and spoilt. All the info cannot retrieve even when i try to connect to pc. But at that time still okay cos its an old phone with only contacts.

Like how one of my friends dropped her phone into the toilet bowl and then flushed, and didnt even realize until she saw the thing spinning down the drain...
Usually if I have any important pics inside my hp, I would transfer them to my lappie...at least got backup.. -
well always make it a point to check your stuff before alighting transport, or leaving a place. like maybe put your ex stuff in your bag. then before leaving somewhere just open your bag and take a peek. at least you feel safer.
jeans always have at least 4 pockets, 2 front 2 back. so what i normally do is put hp keypoach wallet and mp3 player 1 in each pocket. then before i leave somewhere i just give a pat on each pocket to make sure it is not empty.
dont like some days hp in pocket, then some days in bag. cause if you feel pocket inside empty, you might think is in bag. ya lor. -

And I've heard stories where people lost handphones to find that the new owner had helped them donate lots of money by calling 1900 donation hotlines. Hopefully it doesn't happen to u too -

Blame yr own carelessness, they have those stickers reminding you not to leave anything behind but you took things for granted, you should be cursing yrself and not the taxi driver who's trying to make a living, as for those pics, you should have them stored on yr pc right?
Besides, maybe you could have dropped them somewhere else?

i checked my pockets after i left the cab it isn there also..
i was holding on to it when i board the cab...
like i mentioned somewhere... the phone cannot connect to the pc tts y i didn store the pix n such in the pc.
another fren said the phone might have dropped and slided all the way to the front...
oh well... the good thing is, i nw got a new phone... a gift frm papa
the bad thing is, i tried synching the phone, can back up cannot restore
