See it this way....
I failed quite a few tests back in JC. And I was lagging behind on all fronts.
I was initially quite disheartened... but then I decided to look at things differently. Simply put, the tests that you fail in school isn't going to affect your A Levels one little bit. And also, you have about 1 1/2 years to master everything.
So I decided on a 'trade space for time' strategy... i.e. just take my own sweet time to catch up on my revision and learn at my own pace. Of course, I did my best to for my tests, but I can accept an occasional failed test or two.
So take it slow and steady. You may think that you have little time, but believe me, you've got lots of it. It sucks, but it still doesn't suck too badly. You can fail a few tests and still ace your A Levels.
In uni on the other hand, a single failed test means that you've screwed the module with no second chances at all. No kidding.
The most important thing is to BE CONSISTENT. If you find yourself rushing against time in your preparation for the Prelims and A Levels, then something is seriously wrong.
Good luck
