GP very boring!!!

during gp, the teacher will talk and talk and talk, every week, its just research on this topic then present, every lesson= get into groups and discuss, then present Again...
this is getting so routine and boring ( doesnt help that the teacher is old and uberserious as well )

that's why my gp tutor very ke lian. since aug last yr nobody in my class attended her tutorials.

some things are boring if you let it be...
one of the things about GP is to let it sharpen your analytical skills, how to take apart anything and try to see deeper than the mere surface... and what better way than current affairs since the youth of today seems to be totally apathetic about what goes on around them, around the world...
i had a few occasions to speak to young people from different parts of the world.. a lot of them, i could not make them shut up after a while.. while a lot of the singapore youth, apart from schoolwork and computer games, can't seem to hold a conversation for more than 5 minutes about any other subjects...
and what they do not know or understand, they refuse to find out and summarily become "boring" to them...
there is a whole world to figure out.. GP is one of the windows for you to figure things out...
it can be much more than a mere examinable subject in school.. only if you let it be.. "not boring" -
GP is actually a most lively and interesting class because there are no boundaries. It all depends on the teacher conducting the class. ......
GP should be about acquiring of knowledge in a limitless variety of topics and the development of critical thinking skills as well as analaysis. If the GP class conducted does not focus on these goals, then the teacher is ineffective and you should perhaps have a quiet and private talk with that teacher.
Suggest to the teacher that debates be organised. This can be a great way to liven up the dullness and for students to put their heads together and share. It also encourages freedom of expression and articulation of ideas........

skip ur gp tutorials but remember that if u score a low grade 4 gp, dont blame ur tutor for nt trying, blame urself.

haha i try not to skip tutorials but gp is definitely one good tutorial to skip

Hmm, my GP lessons was ok, cos half the time the teacher will be talking cock or simply missing ... but of course, there was times when it gets boring like when u have to complete that bloody comprehesion then u can disappearing from the cls ...
