  Today suddenly this Chinese monk in gray ropes approached me and handed to me this card... reflective card... with a picture of Buddha on it, and he said it's to keep me safe. I thought "wah how come so nice"... then he whipped out a book and asked me to write my name there... and on the rightmost column... was full of donation amounts....

  the donation amounts were all rather large... $50.. $100... nothing below $30. I found it a little suspicious, and besides i didn't need anyone praying for my safety.. (duh)... so i gave the card back to him
