However, as I mentioned, I'm kinda wary of refurbished goods... and to be honest, buying them from Sim Lim makes me all the more wary. I know that the dealers there are mostly honest, but I've had a few run-ins with a few unscrupulous ones as well.
But I don't mind checking out your contacts, either.
Anyway, I just got back from Creative HQ at Jurong East. They have offered to do a one-to-one swap, but they said that they're out of stock, and it will only arrive in 1-2 weeks.
Once again, I'm a little suspicious... any chance that they might swap my spoilt player for a refurbished one? Or am I being a little paranoid here? -

Just a week after buying it, it jammed while I was using it. I couldn't even reset it. So I had to let it run until the battery died. I took it down to the service center the next day, where it was fixed on the spot.

I'm taking it down to the service center again tomorrow. If this sort of nonsense happens again, I may consider selling it off and buying an iPod. -

Get a Samsung Mp3 player. Mine already coming to 1.5 years and still as good as new.
