MP3 player spoilt again!

I bought my Creative Zen V Plus 4GB MP3 player a few months ago.
Just a week after buying it, it jammed while I was using it. I couldn't even reset it. So I had to let it run until the battery died. I took it down to the service center the next day, where it was fixed on the spot.
Things have been alright for a while. Then suddenly, the display screen now has horizontal lines!
I'm taking it down to the service center again tomorrow. If this sort of nonsense happens again, I may consider selling it off and buying an iPod.

That's why I bought Creative again... I thought their players would be pretty solid. The online CNet reviews for it were also positively glowing. And to top it all off, I have a friend who works in Creative who can buy their stuff for me at staff prices.
Arrgh... looks like I may sell it off soon. Not now, though... my finances don't permit an iPod at the moment. -

dont buy ipod, buy the Iphone -
the iShuffle is good value.. if you have no need for a screen and can tell it from pocket lint (because it is that small)

Ipod oso very nice and elegance in the design and is cool to own an ipod -

i very scared leh.. my creative mp3 inside alot porn..then i scared if 1day really spoil cannot even on n delete porn b4 i send to service then they open up n see..dunno i'll end up in court or not...

ya man...some creative products sucks.. its their less well known products tt are reliable. i bought the much hyped zen neon or watever u call that not long after it was launched. Didnt see through its first birthday. Service centre is super ulu and when i got there, they say got no warranty for my problem(cracked screen, non random random mode, bugs, and ability to hang) In contrast, my fren's ipod drowned by accident and they replace it one for one.

anyway when it comes to electronics it has a bit to do with luck.
my late father bought a panasonic fan. it is still working fine 20 years later.

i think its just misfortune that your MP3 is not "normal"
