How about doing Homework in that 6 hours.
If there is a laspe in the class schedule, it might be because of the modules you chosen.
If the 6 hours is packed full, people will also complain.
If the 6 hours is free, people will complain. -

I prefer my 6hrs packed full. It feels like I had used my time wisely. =D -

I have done homework continuously from 9pm to 6am before, then go school. The 2years in poly trained my stamina. =)

Give tuition. Slot in that tuition time slot during those six hours.
If you're working part-time, you might want to slot in some hours into that six-hour slot. -

Socialize with your friends ? If you stay near school , go home take a nap then come back later ? 6 hrs, you can watch movie , hang around at the nearest shopping mall .
