Luckily I can choose to pon my CCA if I wantOriginally posted by fudgester:Back when I was in JC 2, my schedule was Absolut Hell.
The earliest day ended at 3pm. The latest day ended at 5.20pm.
Heck, when I was initially taking S Papers, it could end at 7 - 8pm on a couple of days.
My ECA didn't help things much - we had this major public performance in April. We ended up rehearsing every single night until 10 - 11pm.
Yeah I have to agree with that....Originally posted by gd4u:When, striderz action very fast ...

timetable altho a bit relax, still find myself ending at 5.15pm coz' i was in the triple science class. had a serious r/s. studied hard nearing the As.
but the ex had to ask for a breakup in the midst of my A lvls. and the 2nd week of the exams was just shitty.

What's your 'A' level grades..?Originally posted by fudgester:Yeah I have to agree with that....
Like I said during the outing, the key to success is slow, steady, and thorough revision. The way I see it, I had two years to master everything - so I decided to use this fact to my advantage. I would just fight a rearguard action in Yr 1 - just study everything at my own pace, and to heck with how well I did academically so long as I didn't fail any subjects at the Promos.
I didn't start off all that well - I got CDEO for Yr 1 June common tests. But I just continued applying the pressure slowly. Eventually I got BBCD for the Promos.
I just continued piling the pressure. I did my holiday homework over Yr 1 Dec as best as I could, and tried to find as much revision time as possible for Yr 2 March. I then spent the June holidays studying heavily for the June Common tests.
For the finals, I started studying six weeks before the Prelims. I can still remember going out on all-out revision after Racial Harmony Day - 21st July. I specifically chose that day as I had a performance on that day which I had to prepare for.
I kept it up, studying 6-8 hours a day after 21st July.... all the way until the final A Level paper. I only took a long weekend off after the last Prelim paper... after which, I continued applying the pressure. What I can say is that there were those who mocked me for being 'so kan cheong'.... but suffice to say that I had the last laugh.
I'm not trying to boast here, and I apologise if it seems that way. What I'm trying to say is that success is not a given, and you should never rely on miracles for it. If you want it, you need to work for it, even if it means that you have to make great sacrifices along the way.
