I don't even have A maths and pure physics in sec school. Guess i'm really screwed My current Maths standard only E mathsOriginally posted by fudgester:x2.
As I mentioned earlier, I am highly perplexed as to why the NUS admissions allow you to have either Physics or Chemistry as part of the admission criteria. The bottom line for ANY engineering course is this: you MUST have a solid foundation in Physics and Maths. Anything less, and you'll be screwed very badly.
If I'm not wrong, NTU actually allows A Level Arts students to go into engineering. In fact, NTU has a more established aerospace department than NUS. They provide additional basic Physics and Maths classes to those without A level Physics and Maths.
However, I strongly recommend against going there, either. Imagine having to catch up with two years' worth of A level syllabus in a compressed amount of time while studying B.Eng level at the same time. It'll be pure hell, I can imagine.
Well, you can still go to NTU, but as I mentioned earlier, I really don't recommend it at all.Originally posted by polarsnake:I don't even have A maths and pure physics in sec school. Guess i'm really screwed My current Maths standard only E maths

Why not send another enquiry to the RSAF? Ask them whether you can enlist in the later part of 2007?
Or are you going to pursue your other passion of Geography instead?
Ah Geography....Originally posted by polarsnake:Aiyah I think I shall take up Geography first. As for the Pilot career, I can try to take up in the near future loh

I got C6 for Eng Lit. Blame it on the 39 degree fever I had that day.
It was Geography that saved the day for me. I got A1 for it.
