If you want to know, I'm pursuing that interest as well, but in a different way. I'm currently majoring in Mechanical Engineering (Aeronautical Specialisation) at NUS.
I've always wanted to be an aircraft engineer since young when my uncle (a senior engineer at ST Aerospace) introduced me to model aircraft. And right now, God willing, I'm just 1 1/2 years away from fulfilling my dream. It'll be 1 1/2 years of absolute hell, for aeronautical is the worst of the worst possible specialisations in ME. But if that's what I'm going to have to go through to fulfill my dream, I'll do it.
You and I have the same dream; we just take different paths to get to it.
Have you considered majoring in aerospace engineering in uni?
You can then become one of my juniors. -
