U ppl dun know how to appreciate a movie. I seen it n think it not bad. Give a new packaging to old action movie. Somemore the action scenes by donnie yen is realli up to standard. Cool!

check out the fighting movies in the 1980s. the plots were all the same. they fight from the first minute to the end of the show.
they were good then, but not now. -
For me, its for the actions and a good laugh how come the policemen with guns and years of professional training cannot deal with an overweight gangster..haha...

SPL is a good show man. if u noticed nowadays the shows, they dont really have a good finishing touch. it always ends with a scene that leaves the viewers pondering on the ending.
SPL is different IMO. they finished the show as a whole although it was a bad ending where donny yen was thrown down the building. Movies nowadays either gun fights or love story. not much hand to hand hardcore fighting. see liao also sian. SPL's fighting scenes were 1 of the best i've seen in the recent yrs. I have not catched Dragon Tiger Gate yet but intend to watch it tml. Shows with good fighting scenes are always nice to watch.
Good fighting scenes does not include matrix kind of fighting whereby many CPU gfx were included. Good fighting scenes means the actors actually do the fights themselves with only the help of a "gang xian" Think of Ong Bak and Tom Yum Gong. cool fights right.
