It has happened even before our generation and have actually accept that smokers WILL Smoke after their meals, at Kopitiam and Hawker Centres, until Food Court exist, these habits ceased.
Now that this Yellow box issue was raised. Non smokers seemed to talk as if they've never seen/expected food consumers to smoke after that.
Did you understand the few years back when you're a teenager and see people smoking in these places?

I see Smokers - I shift to non 'cloudy' areas.
I wouldn't want to go and say 'KopiTiam is for Eating and Drinking leh Siao lian eh...'
I still want to sit at my favourite KT and makan one.

Now whenever we go out as a bunch, my smoker frens just automatically rise and gather as a group outside of the eating place and smoke...they see no problems with that...its just a 10 secs walk to the outside or even lesser...they dun complain so I dun see why should the others whine.....

What I am saying is that...EVERYONE, including NON SMOKERS have the right and priority to sit at any table they want as long they are eating or drinking something. So when smokers come and see that the tables are being taken up, they should not whine but they just have to blame their wrong choice of "anti stress" tool (hoon ki lah). -

I see the yellow Box as a way to please both parties. Both non smokers and Smokers.
I don't see the need to completely oust them out of the Sitting premises.
If i know non smokers were to sit at the yellow Box during peak hour. I'll smoke beside them. Because I'm in the yellow box! The Law is for me!!!! -
