The price is outrageous. Gahmen everytime says price rise to discourage ppl from smoking. I tell u, this is all bullsh!t. They are just trying to squeeze more money out of the smoking community. Ever wondered where the taxes on cigarettes go to?

The good thing about rising cigarette cost is, it's not compulsory to smoke. -

any junior economics students can tell you that ciggies taxes are "regressive" taxes, that they place more burden on the poor rather than the well-off and the middle class ....... if they want to, they can easily legislate more stringent public smoking rules ... but no ! ... it have to be taxes ... I hardly believe that ivy leaguers economists in goverment service doesn't know that ..... so why then ? ....

As for the no smoking zones, I suspect eventually only common area can smoke -
