Coca Cola Promotion

  i saw a coca cola promotion going at $2.85, so i took a carton and approached the cashier.
  
  to my surprised it was actually $8.65 i had no choice but to pay.
  
  i went back to the shelf and found out that the $2.85 promo is for 6 cans. but why the heck is the $2.85-promo-sticker on the 18 cans carton?
