Taxi Fare Cheat!!!???

a taxi driver drove a man from the airport to river place condominium. the commuter did not have cash and asked to pay the driver later.
he went home, came down and said he does not have cash at home too. he offered to pay by credit card. again this was not possible. so the taxi driver gave him his bank account number and expected him to transfer the money.
but he waited in vain.
no money to pay $21.45 taxi fare?

All taxis in Singapore accept credit cards la!!!!
If the taxi driver dunno how to use too bad for him.
Anyway there are so many atms at the airport. -

Check the taxi window....once a cabbie said they do not accept credit card but I pointed to the window with the VISA sticker displayed big big. Then he said he didn't know how to use the machine, so I entered the transaction on the machine myself.
If cabbie refuse to accept credit card, take down his particulars and lodge official complaint. There are plenty of foreigners waiting to take his job. -
Only Comfort and CityCab can take credit cards payment .
SMRT also can i think ..... but the rest confirmed cannot pay . -
No worry , cabby is protected is this case .
If being caught , this customer will be given a chance to pay , and his details will be recorded down , and if he insisit not paying , the company lawyer can sue him for cheating .
Cheating or breach of trust they called it , is a serious offense . Don't think $21.45 little bit , can keep you in jail for 2 weeks , worth it ?
Comfort got back 97% money for this type of cases reported by cabby .
